The staff is very kind and helpful, though the property has known better days. The hotel is not at walking distance from the lake or downtown Tiberias, in the middle of a residential area.

This is the best bang for the buck in the area! The staffs are extremely nice and accommodating. Can't ask more with breakfast even included! Strongly recommend if budge is your concern and still want to get decent service!

Simple Hotel mit simple room, needed special instructions for light, very short bed bur combatable. Good breackfast but over priced Nice welcome extras One can tell they did teir best

Nice comfortable, clean room, if a bit small. Toilet/shower room small and very basic. Flooring to one room was peeling up. Generally, the decor is old and tired. It would help if the hotel had a city map available that highlighted local tourist sites- we were told just to use Google when we asked. Staff polite and friendly.

The rooms facing the street are not pleasant. The balcony was not clean and it wasn’t able to be used because of the traffic noise. Standing in the bathroom is like being in a bus stop because the walls are so thin and the street noise comes in the vent. Also the check in staff said we could park anywhere on the street out front and we got two parking tickets. The girl helping us check out was very nice and corrected our bill. The breakfast was good.

I was not pleased with the first room I was given. It felt closed in and claustrophobic, and the TV did not work. When I was moved to room 115, I was very pleased. The staff at the Jacob Tiberias was fantastic. I would like to particularly mention a gentleman named Kobi, who served as a type of staff manager(?) He was very personal,and attentive to any issues I had. Kobi truly represented the Jacob brand, and is an outstanding member of the facility.

We got a room with access to a dirty courtyard and to the left side of the hotel where there are air conditioners in each window ... The noise is strong, it is impossible to open the window ... The curtain and curtains are all covered in dust, as soon as they are opened - a layer of dust has risen .. the shower is leaking ... Old hotel - won't stay there again

I would avoid this hotel at all costs. The hotel image shown on Expedia is false. This hotel is serving religious Jewish people and as a result, the elevator on weekends works on Sabbath mode, meaning stopping automatically on each floor - this actually prevents you from using the elevator, unless you are willing to wait 10 minutes or more. The front desk staff is awful, looks like an unexperienced students doing a part time job. The hotel corridors have typical awful smell. There is no option to open the room window do you have to relay on air conditioning only. The bathroom shower has no curtain so the water goes all over the floor. They provide a floor wiper to each room to push back the water to the shower. While claiming the stairs I met twice unhappy gusts who said they would never go to this hotel again. My suggestion - avoid this facility at all costs.

Jacob Hotel in Tiberius.

Hotel Jacob is a great choice. Not on the water but very convenient. Free parking. Friendly folks. On a bus line. Excellent.

The hotel was clean and my room was perfectly suitable and had a cute balcony with a lovely view. The staff was very kind and personable, offering me drinks and moving up my check-in time when I arrived early. There is not much right around the hotel but it isn’t too far of a walk to busier party of the city.

Pretty hotel in Tiberias

The hotel was far from the beach where a lot of the restaurants and stores are. There was free parking behind the hotel. The lobby was very attractive. The staff were helpful. The room was clean. It faced the street--not much of a view. The shower was great--lots of hot water. Other than the location, we were very satisfied.
