Nice property, shame about noisy guests
Posted 6 Jan 2018 on HotelsThis is a really beautiful property with a great swimming pool in the middle. Potential to be very relaxing. Staff were good and owners very friendly. Breakfast was good. We liked the location as it was quiet although it’s a 10-15 min walk to town - fine for us as we like the exercise but beware if you don’t like walking as parking in town in peak season is NOT an option. We had an ongoing issue with a large group who were staying there who used the pool every afternoon as their personal party area complete with a stereo pumping loud music and even glass bottles in the pool itself. Staff were initially reluctant to sort it out but eventually did after multiple complaints. Not their fault for these disrespectful guests of course but there could have been more proactivity in handling it. It put a damper on our stay so much so that by the last day we were so fed up that we avoided going to the pool at all even though it was one of the main reasons we booked it. Otherwise it’s a very nice place to stay and we were probably just unlucky.

Yes, unlucky you were. This kind of situations may occur twice, three times a year. Year-end is one of them. But we learn. We will not accept big groups anymore. It will not guarantee such problems but for sure improves. Thank you for your valuable comments

Posted 5 Jan 2017 on HotelsOwners and staff were amazing. A very warm, friendly and sincere welcome when we arrived. Newly opened restaurant for dinner was delicious and the chef baked a fresh delicious birthday cake at a moments notice. Breakfast also delicious. Highly recommend staying at this location.

Pros: I loved that they welcomed my dog and looked after her just as well as they looked after us. This is truly a rare find!
Cons: Not one thing. Everything detail was looked after as though we were family.
Location: The beaches were beautiful and the restaurants were delightful surprises. Many picturesque little bars and nice shops for browsing.
It was truly paradise. The beaches nearby, the restaurants, the facility and the lovely, kind staff. We had a great holiday at Morada dos Vendos!

Posted 15 Apr 2024 on HotelsA pousada é muito boa. Silenciosa, tranquila e muito arborizada. O atendimento é nota 10. Tudo limpo e novo. As piscinas são fantásticas. A rede na varanda é um show a parte. São poucos quartos, o que deixa sua estadia mais tranquila ainda. Só devo alertar que ela fica longe das praias e do centro.
