"Perfect for one night work stay- friendly staff, close to restaurants for dinner; able to purchase snacks/drinks at reception and toiletries etc if you needed anything. Didn't use the bar or restaurant. Walked out to Browns for dinner- few restaurants there- 5 minute walk..perfect. Wlaked to train station in the morning- less tan 10 minutes. Very handy"

"We were upgraded on arrival and we were staying for 3 nights so that was a bonus. We had the Dinner B&B package so was a little disappointed to have a very limited menu offering i.e. 3 starters, 4 mains and 3 desserts but the majority of the Inclusive menu was aimed at Vegans or vegitarians. Restaurant was also inconsistent with food preparation, first 2 nights we had a proper little side salad with the starters or mains however on the last night, it was just lettuce! "Warm and welcoming staff at reception. Dining staff very friendly. Excellent choice for breakfast. My only criticism was the mattress and we changed rooms as decided to stay longer and they were both the same. They seemed to sag and we ended up rolling in the middle and I have suffered from lower back pain ever since. The hotel is in the middle of an upgrade so hopefully invest in new mattresses! "
