Our stay at Chidambara Vilas was truly exceptional! The property is a perfect blend of heritage and luxury, offering a glimpse into the Chettinad culture with its beautifully preserved architecture. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the attention to detail in the décor was remarkable. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The serene ambiance, coupled with top-notch facilities, made for a pleasant and memorable experience. We highly recommend Chidambara Vilas as one of the best luxury heritage resorts, especially for those seeking a peaceful and culturally enriching getaway.

Being considered very expensive property with classic vintage look, every small work that is helped is expected for gratuity (tip). Even a Rs 500 tip is sometimes considered quite low.

Nice reception from check in. They gave us history of the place. Helped my wife all the way to room. Food was excellent and served with affection chettinad style. Nice pool area. Friendly staff and overall enjoyed our short stay.

A real gem. The mix between luxury and the Chettinad style just works beautifully. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff made us feel like royalty. Take a detour if you need to, in order to experience this place. My only regret is that I forgot my swimsuit, and the pool itself was stunning.
