Needs more items such as coffee and toilet paper and more pillows. Otherwise a fabulous place with a great view.

My stay at The Penthouse was enjoyable. The view made the room stand out from most rooms in The Hague. Since I never need a credit card, I don't own one. When checking in, this was kinda of a hurdle. On the Expedia website it said that a debit card would function too and that just a down payment would be enough, sadly enough the person behind check in was surprised and said that they Expedia clearly said that check in was with credit card only. Later home I checked and this was not the case. The employee said for this time you can pay the deposit with your debit card and get the money back later if nothing is broken. Which I was fine with. She noted down my details and I paid. After a pretty decent time of waiting, I finally got the explanation of how to go up to the room and how everything works, which was good explained by her. The room itself was nice. Everything was clean, the only thing that didn't look that clean was the shower head, it looked like it was stained pretty bad with calcium which could easily could be fixed in my opinion. Nevertheless, I had a good experience for one night.

No bar or Restaurant

I booked the penthouse over other places for one reason. The sky bar and the restaurant. my wife had knee surgery and we didn’t want to walk much so I wanted a place to stay with a good restaurant on site. I was told on check in the Restaurant had been closed a long time. The web site and Hotel.com site brags about the wonderful sky bar snd Restaurant. If it’s been closed “ a long time “ that’s a lie and false advertisement. We loved the unit but didn’t fit our needs.

No room cleaning or even bed making during 4 night stay

Almost too good to be true ...

Room was of excellent quality and had more facilities than one could expect of hotel accomodation. This, along with the reasonable pricing and excellent location beside HS station, meant that I had a very enjoyable 11-night stay at The Penthouse.

Spacious place to stay for a while

Good location, decent quality for price. Biggest benefit is how spacious the apartments are.
