I discovered this gem quite by accident but am happy I did. The room was huge and suitable for a 3-person family. Everything was clean, there was an iron and board, fan, and good water pressure. The best part was the hospitality though. The owner takes care of you and is lovely. Wonderful breakfast as well.

Three days business trip
Posted 7 Dec 2019 on HotelsI stayed here during my three days business. Accommodation, breakfast and hotel staff were just great, far better then more expensive hotel chains.

Aquick trip to Den Haag
Posted 13 Sep 2019 on HotelsA very pleasant few days. The hotel has only 8 rooms and felt a bit more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The manager was a good guy and was helpful.

Clean,comfortable, convenient boutique hotel room
Posted 11 Sep 2019 on Hotels4 nights in The Hague. Hotel Excelsior easily accessible via Tram number 16. 20 minute walk to World Forum. 1 to 2 blocks to several pubs and restaurants
Euro style breakfast was excellent.
Mr Ed is a gracious and fastidious host, rightfully proud of his boutique property.

Too noisy due to traffic. Not too close to main sights but with good tram and buses stop near by.

Nice neighborhood
Posted 10 May 2018 on HotelsStaff was great and very helpful. The tram to the city is easy and quick. Being close to the shore means good seafood is nearby. Room #1 is in the front of the building and exposed to some significant street noise. You now have to pay to park on the street. If driving a GPS helps.

We voelden ons welkom en de kamer was netjes en rustig. Ontbijt uitstekend, we waren 2 personen maar er was genoeg voor meer mensen.
