"After completing a packaged tour around Far North Queensland, I chose to extend my holiday by travelling to Townsville. Having read about the redevelopment and changes, I looked forward to staying at Belmoral, and was pleased that it met and exceeded my expectations. Checkin was easy. Although I had downloaded the Salto KS app, all was required was a token that could easily be stored in my wallet when leaving the room. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room included a free breakfast...

"Studio apartment was clean and the bed comfortable.Easy walk into the CBD, or to the stadium. Staff were friendly and helpful. Note, they advertise foxtel pay tv channels but that is only if you have your own paid account with the ap, so not really available (slightly deceptive). Studio was not serviced daily but that is OK, easy enough to get extra toiletries etc from reception."
