"What can I say , this place is amazing . We got there at 8pm on Friday and was greeted by Annette who was so lovley , she had warmed up the hot tub for us and everything was ready. We all agreed that the main thing that let it down for us was cleanliness. We had to hoover and clean when we got there - there was a lot of dog hair (we didn't bring a dog). "Four night summer break. The caravan was small but comfortable and exactly what we were expecting. The cooking facilities were excellent, oven, hobs, and fridge/freezer. tea towels and washing up implements were also available. The showers were clean and water was hot with plenty of space for dry clothes to hang. Plenty of cooking implements and crockery in the caravan and tea and coffee provided too. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back."

"I can't say enough about this place. Our stay was exceptional and revitalizing; If you're looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to go. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the place. Even if you just want a place to relax and unwind for a few days this is a great place to go. "

"There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs."
