Very convenient location , unable to provide microwave on this occasion however reception were able to heat my dinner for me . So all in all a good stay again

Rooms were close to highway. Property looked rundown and in need of new carpets in the hallways and rooms. Limited facilities in the rooms (no microwave). Linen closet door always left open and blocked 1/2 of stairway to upstairs. No elevators.

The hotel was very reasonably priced through Expedia , reception were very obliging , provided me with a microwave when I asked to have something heated . Overall a very good experience . Property is under renovation at the moment hence the very reasonable price I’m assuming .

We arrived to the property and could see that they were chopping down trees and shrub. There was noisy drilling while I was at the check in desk. I was told we could stay in the room we booked or stay in a room on the ground floor as they were “Painting the roof and checking for leaks” the following day. We decided to stay in the original room. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the clothes line over the bathtub broke. The website says that they do breakfast and dinner. That was not correct. I asked about that the following day. What was happening is that three weeks before, The Palms, which appears to be a garden centre, that is in front of the hotel had bought it. So instead of renovating the hotel, then opening it back up, they were operating while doing renovations. The website should’ve been updated. It’s a lot more expensive if booked directly through them. I’m relieved I didn’t.

The property is under construction and there is bits and pieces everywhere in a unorganised way. It devalues the property.

Blankets dirty, with stained. Mould in the walls. Dirty carpets.

4 ladies staying in a room There was no hot water in a room until the next morning blankets smelled had holes in them . Shower floor was dirty. When we walked into room it smelt. Beds were uncomfortable advertising a dining room and breakfast no food available at all in this facility no fan in bathroom to take out the steam when we finally got hot water.
