We loved this beautiful guest house, which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Ana, the helpful and gentle owner. It's set in magnificent, tranquil and quiet surroundings, and above all natural and eco friendly.
Our room and bathroom were perfect and immaculately clean with furnishings to match the age and history of the house. Ana's breakfasts are superb with organic and locally sourced ingredients. She makes her own yogurt, jams and freshly squeezed orange juice (no cheap packet ones here) and cakes. The bread is freshly baked each day from a local bakery.
Her garden is a joy to walk round, with herbs, lavender and fruit trees (a persimmon tree which we've never seen before) and many more plants, vines and trees to see. There is also a water trough in the garden with water trickling down from the mountains which is pure and natural and safe to drink.
There are many walks and areas around to explore, and a lovely restaurant a few miles away in a converted monastery serving delicious meals.
Her house is not easy to find, as not sign posted from the road or available on Sat Nav, so we would suggest obtaining directions from Ana before setting off and not end up at the top of a winding narrow mountain road like we did!

Stunning property every room is beautifully designed. The gardens are a wonderful tranquil retreat. Lovely atmosphere and Ana is a charming and efficient hostess. Always happy to provide touring advice and help if required. We planned on spending 2 nights and ended up staying for 5 the place was so wonderful. Great breakfast and lovely evening meals in the garden. Highly recommend to friends and family. Beautiful region to stay with lots to do in the area.

Pros: breakfast, location, the fact of being organic and ecological
Cons: Not so much white add some colours.
Great breakfast. Comfortable room and very beautiful house.

Posted 29 May 2017Wir waren begeistert von Unterkunft u Service u Frühstück. Leider nur für eine Nacht. Hier hält man's länger. Ist zwar einsam gelegen, aber guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark o zum Wandern. Sehr freundliche junge Besitzerin.
Auf einer Scala von 10 würde sie die volle Punktzahl erreichen.
Frühstück mit sehr viel Obst, Schinken, Käse, versch Brotsorten, Marmelade, frischen Säften ...

Besser geht es nicht
Posted 28 May 2017Das schönste Hotel in dem wir jemals waren. Ein unfassbar tolles,kleines Juwel. Die wenigen Zimmer sind ganz neu und sehr geräumig und supersauber. In der Regendusche haben 4 Leute Platz.
Mit beheiztem Kamin in der Lobby, gemütlicher Pergola vor dem Pool und alles supercharmant eingerichtet.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ultralecker mit frischen Früchten,Obst,Schinken...alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Betreiberin ist supernett , sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Wer hier nicht entspannen kann, der macht etwas falsch :-)
Man hat das Gefühl bei sehr guten Freunden zu übernachten. Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus

Posted 2 Aug 2016 on HotelsMaison très bien tenue avec piscine. Petit déjeuner excellent avec produits frais et fait maison (jus de pomme au gingembre délicieux). Service de qualité. Des hôtes très gentilles, toujours disponibles. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
