"This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. It would serve perfectly as a retreat and invites meditation. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there's a big TV in a common room. The building also houses artwork and small museums. It's a bit isolated. "We loved our stay here - a one night get away from our 2 year old who we left with the grandparents. Though once we arrived I had wished he was with us, as there was such an incredible kids program on offer. Even though the place is clearly very kid/family friendly, it still has a beautiful inviting grown up feel, definitely something for everyone. The food was good, the indoor pool lovely, the grounds are peaceful. We'd consider coming back for a proper family holiday in the future."

"Amazingly beautiful hotel and spa! Front desk reception were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selections were anything from cereal, yogurt to freshly made omelettes. Breakfast staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The marble throughout the building was gorgeous and opulent. We did not make use of the spa area at all, but it looked first rate.
