Chilly stay with virtual wall between rooms
Posted 14 Mar 2024 on HotelsDon't buy the picture, it's actually quite bleak there and you will not get heating even if you are ready to pay for it. And the walls - you can hear your neighbor breath, not talking about young couple in next room, who in my case luckily left the room before the night after intensive usage.

The main light switch in our room controlled the circuit breaker for the sockets in our rooms as well. So when light was off, no power was provided to the sockets. This resulted in impossibility to reload our devices during night (phones, powerbanks - which are very important for hiking).

Nice place to explore away from the touristy crowd
Posted 10 Jan 2022 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay in what felt like a very authentic farmhouse. The room was very comfortable. Only the lighting detracted from the romantic atmosphere (the Spanish seem to prefer bright white light in general!). There is a breakfast place down the street (turn left and just follow the road). Villaflor is really pretty especially on a clear day, and we were lucky to be able to see the stars at night.

Very comfortable stay
Posted 10 Dec 2021 on HotelsWonderful rural style hotel near the main square. Lovely shaded area under a vine canopy and also a roof top terrace. Check in was easy by calling the numbers on the door. Mini Market opposite very handy.

Disappointing
Posted 9 Aug 2020 on HotelsThere was no reception when we arrived at 2pm had to call a number and the owner guided us to open the front door and gave a brief tour. The room was as shown in the pictures however the double bed had only a single duvet cover which was too small for two people and the mattress was very uncomfortable. We stayed two nights but there was only sufficient toilet paper for one night and no staff to obtain new rolls from. We were not offered a Wi-fi password at any point and it was not displayed in the room. Out room was not serviced during our stay this may have been due to Covid-19 but we were not told this.
