Our room was spacious with a lounge seating area. The room was tastefully decorated with an updated bathroom. It had all the conviences, ie. USB outlets(yay), hairdryer, coffee or tea, kettle, etc. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would 100% stay again. Loved it!

We stayed for 3 nights , our bed was comfortable. Clean , bathroom, shower was extremely clean , breakfast was delivered to our room, breakfast was very nice . Overall our stay was perfect , The strathmore hotel is a perfect place to stay . Host Joe is a friendly lovely Guy . We would highly recommend this hotel we give a 10 out of 10 PERFECT. One night stay. Great relaxing and quiet location easy parking within 50 metres. Very clean, spacious, light airy and well furnished room. Excellent quality breakfast delivered free to my room. Unbelievably great value for the money. I travel around the yk on a weekly basis, Bed and breakfast for this or substantialy more money do not come any better. Keep up the great work!!

What a wee gem of a place. We absolutely loved our stay. The room was so spacious and immaculately laid out. We enjoyed have the sofa area to sit and relax. Breakfast was 10/10 and we felt very spoilt having it delivered to our room each morning. The love effort and care put into this B&B is obvious for all to see. Thank you for the warm welcome and perfect stay Joe - we shall definitely be making a return visit - next time with friends and/or family in tow!! xx

The property is located in a quiet street, just a very short walk to the city centre and sea front. Public parking is located near to the rear of the hotel. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and clean. No dining room at the hotel, however a breakfast basket was delivered to our room each morning which contained a hot breakfast roll (bacon, sausage and egg), cereal bars and yogurts. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and would certainly return.
