This is not a 5 star hotel

We hardly go away as a couple so wanted a place where we would feel pampered so we picked this place as we saw it has amenities like a spa and sauna.. after paying an exorbitant amount of money for a 5 star hotel we were highly disappointed. Rooms totally outdated, peeling and unkept. Broken doors, cracked walls. Spa is closed (not indicated anywhere on the site) ripped beds and curtains. This is not a 5 star location and not what I paid for. Food is good but had to pay extra for breakfast, dinner we got as compensation.

The staff at this hotel is amazing! We were guests while TelAviv was being shelled!! They made sure we were in safe shelter and did a great job of staying calm. The hotel and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Professional, helpful, organized, and outpouring of compassion.

Someone had a key that opened my room. The management fixed it, but it reduced my sense of safety.
This is not a 4 star hotel! Furniture is old. Elevator feels claustrophobic since it is so small.
