Lovely boutigue B&B
Posted 9 Nov 2019 on HotelsAmazing service. Everything was top-notch. Beach view is marvelous. This side of Cormandel is not great for swimming though. But a pleasant and peaceful beach walk.

So glad you enjoyed your 2 day stay in our Tui Suite and went for the nearby Waiomu kauri/bush walk we suggested - and after enjoying the Raupara Water Gardens for your birthday lunch which we were delighted to book for you, you were also able to drive up the spectacular Coromandel coastline and enjoy Coromandel town and drive back right around the other coast in time for your special evening Birthday meal which we had fun serving you upstairs overlooking the beach right out front and despite the cool spring evening, could enjoy the fabulous sunset!
So glad too that you enjoyed watching the Rugby on our lounge TV, curled up snug in our leather recliner !

My daughter and I recently stayed here and had a truly wonderful experience. Owners Dale and Margaret are lovely and made every minute special. We arrived after a long day and were immediately treated to wine and cheese and a magnificent sunset right off the back porch. The room was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was newly updated. Fast wireless for my 20-something was a total bonus! In the AM we cam down to a gourmet breakfast that blew our minds. Cannot say enough good things about Te Puru!

relaxing stay right on the beach. on the less populated side of town. natural beach. we watched birds and enjoyed the yard. proprietors are great, very friendly, offered touring advice and complete breakfast. i could have stayed here for my entire trip. sad to leave. would recommend and come back if it weren't 20+ hours away!

Perfect hosts!
Posted 2 Feb 2018 on HotelsMargaret and Dale were the most incredible hosts, from offering and preparing a phenomenal porterhouse steak dinner accompanied by Dale’s signature cole slaw, opening up the hot tub, to graciously handling my clumsy spilling coffee on the duvet! The provided breakfast is one of the best. A real treat to be able to walk out of your room fora dip in the firth.
The setting is stunning. My room had both a firth side deck and private patio. The Netflix was a nice ammenity. All 3 rooms are beautiful, I choose the ground floor room oto avoid hauling a large suitcase upstairs.

Perfect Little lodge!!
Posted 19 Feb 2017Dale and Margaret were the greatest hosts during our stay! The view was astounding (even during a little rain), the facilities were great and after 3 nights we really didn't want to leave. Great location and highly recommend a visit.

5 Star Accomodation on the beach
Posted 17 Feb 2017 on WotifDale and Margaret were brilliant hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Dale even chauffered my wife and I to and from a local restaurant in order that we could enjoy a couple of drinks over dinner. Breakfast was as good as, if not better than any 5 star Hotel around the world.
