"We had a wonderful stay – the room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful complimentary toiletries provided. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and overall the service made our visit to Portsmouth really enjoyable. Would happily stay again!"

"Didn't like repeated auto emails asking for self check in and credit card details for incidentals. Didn't like silly health and safety window locks that didn't allow airflow into room. Fans are not at all adequate on hot days. I wonder where health and safety stands if one faints due to the heat on hot days or the risk or access if there is a fire. I did like that reception staff was very helpful to find me another room on the cooler side of the building. TVs need upgrading to Smart TVs. "

"This hotel and its staff were excellent. Since booking my health wasn’t so good but they accommodated us and changed our room to suit. They were helpful and professional and friendly. Efficient. A few were obviously new but polite and helpful "
