Lovely courtyard and very nice breakfast. Rooms are a little dated and the off street parking is really tight. Nice place and would stay again

It’s a poor hotel and very expensive, bad combo

Posted 19 May 2023 on Hotels
To be honest, I think this is a poor hotel. It really needs some modernising and is very expensive for what you get. This was exacerbated by a somewhat poor customer service experience. I told the staff in the morning that the shower was not working very well. This was, I don’t think, a new issue as there were multiple faults (drainage issues, broken attachments) and was told merely that they’d look into it. I sincerely doubt I was the first person to mention this. When I asked for a coffee I was told this was impossible as breakfast didn’t open for 10 more minutes. It’s not the biggest deal in the world, but you’d hope for better at the price paid for this place. It’s run down, needs some decorative attention and they need to reassess how they care for their guests. Won’t return.

lovely owners...helped in several extra ways to make us comfortable. Their restaurant on sight was really good and I always ended our dinner with the soufflé which needs to be ordered at the beginning of the meal. They are beautiful and delicious.

I paid for a king suite with a king bed. Instead I got a slanted, low ceiling room with two twin beds pushed together. This is what I paid extra for?

Dear Madam, thanks for your email. Did I remember you that you reserved for a wenesday, and as EVERYWHERE in differents website, and mostly on Expedia, our restaurant is closed, and the reception closed at 7.00pm. I try to reach you by phone a minimum of 6 times (I may proove it with the detail of all of our phone call), and you never answered. You arrived at hotel at 11.00pm, you asked to our gests to open you the door, you arrived at reception and phoned me ! You took a key on the board and the guests (I can give you all informations about the guests who stayed with us one week!!) showed you how the keys workes. The days after, in the morning, We spoked together. At anytime you asked me about the beds. If yes, I would have gladly changed your room. But you told me everythings is perfect !! You stayed at the swimming pool after this discussion. And also, just to let you know, we have two juniors suite in our house even with king beds or twins beds. You can check the details of rooms in our website : the informations about beds or low ceiling are indicated. When you made the reservation, the first available room is reserved automatically. So I'm not agree to refund something about reservation. And for informations also, you don't paid for any extras, except the local city tax of 0.80euros per person, who is a mandatory tax ! sincerely corinne brouillaud owner

Interesting place

This hotel is a work in progress, But having said that - people were pleasant and the building when fully renovated will be magnificent : wide staircases and big exposed wooden beams. Lack of ability to eat on site and basic breakfast bring the score down.

Great hotel for a charming stay

Posted 28 Jul 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is as charming and pretty as depicted on the pictures, the breakfast buffet was amazing, however the service was somehow behind: - the computer available for internet was insanely slow - they imposed a check-in by 10pm even though the restaurant still had clients after 11pm, so they could have handled the keys Nice stay overall though, the room was great, with a cute bathroom.

Quaint Hotel perfect for a country stay.

Pros: The restaurant meals were excellent and very well priced, we ate there every night of our three night stay.
Cons: Cooling in the rooms.
Location: We used our Hotel as a base to visit neighbouring towns on day trips
We stayed for three nights before heading to Barcelona. Our room was big with plenty of room for luggage, we were on the second floor, no lift, this could be hard for some travellers. Breakfast was included, bar and restaurant also on the premises which was handy, no charge for parking. Town very small so as a base for day trips it suited us fine.
