"The hotel is in a really beautiful location and our room / balcony had amazing views over Lake Taupo.The room was clean and had all the amenities. The hotel is pretty old and the carpets in the corridors, the pool and the sauna could do with a refresh. Checking in and out was without a hassle and everybody working there had a smile on their face."

"The Hilton Lake Taupo was a great hotel for us during our time in Taupo. They graciously accommodated us with a last-minute booking that rescued us from staying in a different hotel we had booked which ended up being bug-infested. The Hilton provided a clean room with a pretty view of the lake, and the staff were all super friendly."

"Good value for money. We had room with queen and a bunker for three of us. Also had a kitchenette within. Bathroom/Toilet was shared with one other room. Was very tidy, the best pillows n linen. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay again."

"We liked it because it was very near the lake. We disliked it because our bedroom was filthy. There was thick dust everywhere in our room. The back of the tv was disgusting. The air vent was filthy, the upturned lamp shade in the bedroom had whole families living in there. Even in the corridors there were swathes of dust. When we asked to move, the receptionist took us to another room this one the paint work was white and it was just as dirty, the receptionist didn't seemed bothered. She then...
