We loved the family room it was so eazy to get in with codes and the room was well thought outand clean it was a lovely stay and will be using you again and telling all out your hotel

Town centre with great/convenient/secure parking in rare. This property also had a foolproof access system using codes...no keys... perfect !!
Comfortable bed, very clean with a personal vibe going on....
No fruit tea teas ..... But for what it cost that all is forgiven... especially as the coffee machine was heaven.. well done guys 👍

Posted 8 Jul 2024 on HotelsTo check in you got to text a number for code to get in. Then got it went to room 1. Room not been cleaned. Had to text again got a new room that was ok. Can’t get no food here at all. Spoons only down the road.

If all you are after is a room you are in luck
Posted 4 Jul 2024 on HotelsBeen staying here since 2015 and its gone downhill, never the same after COVID. Clean enough but just a room with a key lock outside the door, nothing else.
Even a few months ago there was breakfast and reception during the day but this stay there was nothing. No reception at check-in or someone there overnight, no bar or breakfast. Front door is left open so anyone could walk in and you let your self into your room with a key code to the key lock outside your door. Not ideal for some single travelers and certainly no deterrent on-site for noisy people staying there. I assume the front door is locked at some point in the evening. I didn't like the lack of any kind of security or personal touch and will look elsewhere next time I visit Taunton. On the plus side there are plenty of dinner and breakfast options nearby.

When you only need a room for the night....
Posted 3 Jun 2024 on HotelsI was down for the cricket and literally just needed a room for the night. I wasn't bothered about needing a hotel with a bar, or a restaurant, or served breakfast in the morning.
In that respect, it did the job.
