We absolutely loved staying at the Mason Elephant Sanctuary! Everything from the staff to the room to the activities were fantastic! The food was delicious in both the restaurant and the tree top cafe. We loved seeing the Elephants up close and having the opportunity to ride and feed them. The small museum was incredibly informative as well. We would recommend a trip here for sure!

If you are coming for elephants, you are going to be very happy! There are currently 24 elephants and the opportunities for interaction are excellent. If you are coming for the opportunity to experience the ultimate in luxury, you could be a little disappointed. But you will not be disappointed in the staff! So set your expectations for elephants, and enjoy your stay! The gardening is beautiful, but the air conditioning and dining could be a little bit stronger.

Beautiful facilities and grounds. The attention to detail in every corner of the rooms and resort is impeccable. The staff are so extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A fantastic and chill way to spend time with the majestic Sumatran elephants in a very impressive environment. The facilities are great and they are constantly improving. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff quickly and effectively made up our room and performed the turndown service seamlessly. The place is a ton of fun and very well cared for. I’ll absolutely be back at Mason elephant lodge. It was the kindest service we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, the spa is amazing, and the elephants are so so happy! If you’re worried, google elephant body language. They are reproducing as well, which is a huge sign they are healthy and happy. Their keepers have been with their elephant for decades. It’s an amazing place. I can’t wait to come back. Special shout out to Oka! He is a doll.
