We stayed 6 nights in August . It is a very elegant historical building and the proximity to the city center is great . The breakfast was delicious , and the staff are so accommodating . The pool area is gorgeous overlooking Mt Etna
The hotel location is the best

The pool is great for when midday is too hot to explore the city. Dining, pool, and housekeeping staff are kind, though front desk/receptionist not so much.
There was a wedding reception one of the nights during our stay and since our room was just above the banquet hall, it was a bit noisy. The tub/shower configuration isn't ideal and leads to very wet floors but is manageable. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
