Terrible management for a good potential hotel
Posted 25 Jul 2018 on HotelsWe had to change room twice, first because door lock was broken, second because there was an extremely strong toilet smell. On third day, our day trip to Gili was canceled on last minute, after making us wait for 1h and with no solution or options provided by hotel.
There were also many missing details like no toilet paper, no free bottled water, a cleaning service unfinished, broken toilet light, no sofa in last room, broken speed meter in the motorbike, a single mask for snorkeling,...
The pool area, location and restaurant are very nice though, especially if you are looking for relaxation.
In brief, an hotel with great potential but terribly managed and with poor attention to details and guests.

Relaxing and Peaceful
Posted 6 Jun 2017 on LastminuteThis resort is so relaxing and offers great private villas with pools. The island is lovely and there are some stunning places to see.
Do not expect prices to be like Bali though. There is a 21% service charge for all food and drinks, which adds up and overall the costs of things is higher than expected. However, this is a small price to pay for the opportunity to spend time on this side of the island.
Staff here are lovely and work hard to assist you. Very respectful of privacy as well.
This is a great place to unwind and chill out.

Nice stay with family
Posted 16 Apr 2017 on HotelsA happy trip with family. The hotel has not yet grand opening, very few clients. Located at a very quiet place, a little bit isolated though. Very relaxing, good food quality, yet the price is not as budget, still affordable. Very spacious room, super big bathroom. Nice people, good service, there are more hotel people than clients during our stay.(the whole hotel only had our family and another couple) Felt we were really the masters of the hotel, haha.

Terrible Stay
Posted 26 Sep 2016 on HotelsHorrific stay! We were "upgraded" to a pool room that had dirty linen, smelly bathroom and dirty towels. It was obvious that house-keeping did not have time nor cared for cleanliness. We enquired about how the TV worked and were then advised that there was a problem with the cable connection and we should instead use the WIFI to watch videos from our phones instead! They did bring a DVD player and DVDs afterwards. Everything is charged in USD (and converted to IDR at checkout) except for food from the restaurant. The "spa" is a makeshift shed with a curtain at the front and is not relaxing at all! The spa prices are even higher than big name chain hotels but the quality and surrounding is worst than the local massage places. That was the impression throughout our stay. This property charges "luxury" prices but offers below average amenities and service. This is probably a result of poor management and perhaps underpaid staff. We have not seen less happier faces during our entire time in Lombok. We will definitely NOT be returning and will advise all against staying at this property.
