The staff was very friendly and the hotel breakfast was very impressive. I would stay at this hotel, if I ever go back to Melaka, Malaysia.

We had a wonderful stay at 5 Heeren. The breakfasts each morning featuring regional Peranakan dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home. The HOGA tea shop, operated by the host in the back, was also lovely. Our room had 2 beds and was adequate for our family of four. The preserved architectural features and decor is stunningly gorgeous as well, the pictures only give you a small glimpse of what you will find inside the common areas and inside your room. We found our room a bit noisy from street traffic and trishaws into the night, but nothing unexpected given the location and keeping the fan/AC setting on high helped.

A lovely stay in a historical gem
Posted 25 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe had three nights at 5 Heeren and really enjoyed our stay. The staff and manageress were all very welcoming and attentive to our needs throughout. The interior of the hotel, with its many antique pieces has the feel of an old-style Peranakan home, which makes it a really special and memorable place. We especially enjoyed the local breakfasts in the main hall area. In terms of its position, it's super-convenient for exploring the heritage of the old town and very close to the night market, yet quiet and peaceful as soon as you step inside. There are some very good restaurants further down the same street -- thanks to the hotel staff for the great recommendations! We hope to visit Malacca again at some point and would definitely come back to 5 Heeren!

今回は、２度目の宿泊でしたが、毎回素敵な調度品に感動させられます。つい写真をたくさん撮りたくなるホテルでです。
朝のお食事は、プラナカンの家具で囲まれた素敵な場所で、食べきれないほどのババ・ニョニャ料理を堪能できます。
