The hotel is very conveniently located, on the border between the old and new town. Check-in was quick, the receptionist was extremely friendly. Room 308. The room wad good, there was a tiny fridge and a kettle. The TV did not work, it did not turn on. The bathroom wad uncomfortable. The problem is that the shower is equipped with a curtain, and it is too short, it does not reach the threshold separating the shower from the rest of the toilet. Thus, the entire floor ends up in water, and this is even when you shower carefully. If you do not hold the shower head with your hands, then everything will be flooded, since the shower is hung so that it is directed straightly at the short curtain.
I have stayed in this hotel about 10 times over last 15 years. So, during this period of time, the breakfast has been becoming worse and worse. Now, it became completely disgusting at a price of 11.50 euros. There is no choice, and the food is of an extremely low quality, just a shame. I'm not sure I'll go back to Bern again, even though this time the price was the lowest in 15 years, despite the inflation.
