"If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. "Lovely setting and friendly helpful people."

"From the moment of check-in to when we checked out. The entire staff pandered to our every wish, On the second day it looked like one of the tires on my car was low. One of staff actually used a Bicycle Pump to top up the air. He then took me a local tire repair shop and got it fixed very cheap. The next day he came back and asked f all was well. The room was impeccable. The free shuttle to take you anywhere you wanted to go and return was a very nice touch. Would HIGHLY recommend the LUX...

"Great quiet location on a beautiful beach. Beautiful garden and pool. Ganesh restaurant in front of villa serves tasty and fresh food. If you like wildlife and nature and are not afraid of bugs and monkeys, this is your place! Note that only 2 of the 3 bedroom has AC, one has fan."

"One of the best Villas we’ve ever stayed in. Very short grab ride (or 10 mins by bike) to ao nang beach and night market. 7/11 right around the corner. Very helpful and friendly host who helped us any time of the day. Highly recommend this place! 👍👍 "

"Stopped here for one night to experience Railay. The hotel is a lot larger than I realised and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The three pools are clean. The only downside is the reserving of sunbeds. All were reserved with no control or monitoring of whether they were actually used or not and this happened from breakfast. "Breathtaking views, nice pool. Some deferred maintenance and upgrades (bathrooms need new mirrors and sinks). Our ceiling fan was so loud we couldn’t use it the first night but was replaced when we complained to the front desk. Staff was very friendly but claim your spot at the pool early if you want shade and/or an umbrella. The Thai restaurant had excellent meals, particularly the fish in sweet chili sauce. Breakfast was good but very chaotic. "

Great for kids!

"Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it."

"Absolutely exceptional! Such an amazing hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff! The pool was amazing, the rooms were clean, I have nothing bad to say! The location is a little out of the way but just a short walk from all the action and I liked being away from the craziness while still being close by. The staff at the front desk were amazing! I can’t sing their praises enough! Highly recommend! "
