We had a very relaxing time and took advantage of the rental car option on site. No issues highly recommended

We had an amazing stay at Muri retreat! Simon and Denise are great hosts who have thought of everything! The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities! We would highly recommend this place! Thank you for having us.

I never went to Rarotonga. I cancelled this stay due to medical conditions and large increase in covid numbers in NZ and Expedia never actioned this via Liv Johnson, Muri retreat. We both checked and the dates I had cancelled and these were still NOT available for anyone else to book. I tried to contact Expedia’s virtual assistant to cancel but it would NOT accept my email address or the Muri booking retreat number. I contacted Liv Johnson and she said Expedia has not replied to her also. I now have asked Liv for Expedia’s contact but no info as yet. Just to add this booking should never have happened with Expedia as Liv Johnson said they were offline with Muri retreat. When I contacted Liv , Muri retreat, the initial booking wasn’t even loaded with them via Expedia. Liv then made me a booking which I had to end up cancelling. This whole process was a mess and still is as I want a full refund and don’t know how/whom/find expedias contacts.I have asked Muri retreat to email me a letter that I cancelled booking and for Expedias contacts due to medical reasons. I have still not received this from Liv Johnson, Muri retreat

Located in a quiet area But theres a phone thay dosen't go ordered a pick up form airport but didnt turn up

Loved that this great place was slightly tucked away, but such a quick walk to everything you could need - including the beach! The view from my top floor apartment was beautiful, especially at sunrise. Steve went above and beyond - a very kind, accommodating host! :)

First time to stay with this place and it was perfect, just far enough out of town to be nice and quite yet close enough to be walkable, which i didn't!! hosts are great people, I will be back, thank yopu

A small but very cosy place with lovely, accomodating hosts, Steven & Phoebe. Highly recommend the Muri Retreat if you are wanting a quiet place to stay. Located a wee way from the main road, only a short walk to shops and the beach.

A little paradise- Phoebe and Steve are the best hosts you could ever hope for. The accommodations had everything we needed for preparing our meals, laundry, comfie beds and a refreshing pool. Short walk down a hill to the restaurants, beaches and shops at Muri Beach. Loved it! Would return in a heartbeat 💗

I was the only guest here for the first few nights. So peaceful and quiet and beautiful grounds. I was downstairs and asked to move to the vacant upstairs room when new guests moved in above me. Every noise they made carried downstairs... but there was little to no noise carried through to the adjacent upstairs room which was great. If you want peace and quiet, go for upstairs! You'll also get a view out towads Muri beach. It's so close to everything - Muri Night Markets, Koka Lagoon Cruise, Te Vara Nui, cafes, Te Ara Museum and Cafe and Artspace, resorts (for day-tripping or meals) and rental car/bike facilities. Your hosts are chilled, laid back, friendly and just bloody good people. They'll ensure you have the best time at their place.
