Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended

perfect for nature lovers
Posted 11 Jul 2019 on HotelsI really enjoyed staying at hotel hoshitate. it's a great little hotel right on the beach run by a friendly family. the rooms are very clean and neat, the hotel serves delicious food, and Yuji the friendly owner speaks perfect english.
i travelled solo and there were a couple of others also by themselves so you don't feel out of place like you can in other places.
i recommend staying on iriomote island for a couple of days to really enjoy the beautiful nature it has to offer. apparently, the sunsets are amazing from this location but sadly it was overcast during my stay!

女一人旅で三日間滞在させていただきました。一言で言って最高のホテルでした。まず、ホテルのオーナーご家族のお人柄が素晴らしく、いつも笑顔で丁寧に対応してくださいました。時間のある時は島の歴史なども話してくださり、またとない経験になりました。
ホテルの目の前は美しい海。夕陽が美しく沈んでいきます。特記すべきは圧倒される星空。天の川がくっきり見え、こぼれ落ちそうなぐらいです。ホテルの屋上に登ると、さらにはっきりと星空が見えて、寝そべって最高な時間を過ごしました。
ヨーロッパからのお客さんも多く友達になり夕食を囲みました。
部屋は毎日綺麗に清掃され、お風呂には湯船もありました。朝ごはんも夕ご飯も美味しかったです。
最後に『またいらっしゃい』と言われたので、必ずまた伺います！本当に素晴らしい休日をありがとうございました！

Wer Ruhe sucht
Posted 24 Jun 2023 on HotelsEinfache aber schöne Unterkunft am einsamen Strand. Super freundliches Besitzerehepaar welches sehr gut Englisch spricht. Extrem ruhig, nur die Wellen des Meeres sind zum Höhren.
Mit dem Bus erreicht man auf der Insel alles, aber er fährt nur 4x pro Richtung.
Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier perfekt aufgehoben.

オーナー御夫妻やスタッフの方の親切な対応がすごく良かったです。食事もすごく美味しかったです。また西表島に行く事があれば宿泊したいですね。ありがとうございました。
