This is a semi traditional hotel. I loved the location and the ladies at the front desk were very welcoming. The shower room is in an onsen. You can shower there but also enjoy the onsen if you'd like.

This is a hostel-like hotel with shared bathrooms and showers, this is not stated in the hotel description and came as a surprise when we arrived. It's not disability friendly as there is a steep slope to access the entrance. Overall a nice stay for a couple of nights though

Only drawback was the absence of an elevator and the entrance of hotel is at the top of a path not accessible by car.

Posted 17 Dec 2019 on HotelsService staff are friendly and the room is clean. The location is very good as it is near to the old town however, there is no proper drop off where cars need to park a distance away and luggage have to pull up a steep slope with some stairs at the end.
Else it will be a great 4.5.

Excellent hotel on hill with in-house onsens.
Posted 13 Nov 2019 on HotelsReally great hotel on the hill overlooking the old part of town. Clean and comfortable. We stayed in both the Tatami room and the Western room and they were both excellent. My family loved the inhouse onsens and the breakfasts. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
