the overall experience was amazing. having a private bathroom is great! soundproofing isn't the best but earplugs are provided at the counter.
one small suggestion: not sure when the light dims down but before that is way too bright.

Great condition; staff services need to improve
Posted 3 Oct 2019 on HotelsThe hotel is designed based on an amazing concept - sharing. It is great that individual rooms are available with comfortable common sharing space. The hotel/room condition is good.
One thing I would like to note though is about the transportation services. When a guest requests for a taxi in 15 mins, it means he/she needs to sort things out in the next 15 mins before they can leave. Front desk should have better communication with taxi drivers. My experience was the taxi arrived in 5 mins and I was asked (while packing) if I wanted the taxi driver to leave. It just wasn't very professional. Also, on my check-in day, three staff members asked to see my passport and only the last one conducted check-in procedure. Not a big deal, but I did wonder why I had to take out my passport 3 times after a long day of traveling.

Thanks for your feedback and the appreciation for our concept. We’re sorry that you felt frustrated during the check-in and taxi-hailing process. As you required a special storage service for your laptop before our check-in time, that’s why we asked for your identification to find your reservation to record such request. The second time you came to the front desk for check-in, we asked for your ID again because it’s our standard process and you were new face to our night shift staff. As for the taxi, please understand we didn’t mean to make you feel rushed. As it was a rainy day, it would be hard to get a taxi and the driver would usually come later from our experience. For fear that any delay would cause you trouble in catching a train, we phoned the taxi company earlier than we normally would, and the taxi came instantly, to our surprise. We hope you still had a great time here. Looking forward to seeing you again.

The staff was really helpful, and the location of the hostel is really convenient for getting around! As a female solo traveller, the place was also safe, and I had no difficulties whatsoever!
