Hotel a bit rundown.

Cold guess no heating
Posted 29 Jan 2023 on HotelsIt’s not heated and was very cold in the hotel . It’s a older hotel needs updating. Front desk was great service. Location okay close enough walk to Metra 4 blocks . But in Jan very cold inside rooms no heat at all . Will not stay in winter here .

The staff was great. They were welcoming and accommodating. The property is the problem. The room was simple but has all necessary items including a fridge. The shower in the bathroom looked dirty. Some of it looked like stains, but some looked like dirt. I wore slippers in the shower just in case. The room smells old as well. The biggest problem was that the walls and floors are thin, and I could hear everything from the room upstairs and the rooms around me. I had a horrible time trying to sleep well. For that reason, I would never stay there.
