The walls need to be re-painted.

Comfortable bed, two pillows each!
Air conditioning worked well, and quite a few English tv channels.
Room a bit small but sufficient for for a couple for a night or two. Small fridge and water available, as well as laundry.
Hotel provides ear plugs in case of noise, but we found it quiet.
Close to the Shilin night market for supper. 7-11 also close by as well as other convenience stores and restaurants.
A couple blocks from Shilin station. Handy for traveling.

Great location. Surprisingly quiet despite being close to the Shilin Market area.

Pro: Staff were very nice and helpful. Only a few minutes away from Shilin MRT station. room was spacious and as described in the photos.
Cons: Breakfast although delicious, is the same every day, ( 1-2 eggs, some bread, some potato salad and some leaf fruit salad) maybe some bacon I'f you eat meat. It's OK for a day or 2 but it gets boring for 5 nights as we stayed.
The room is very poorly soundproofed. ( we had to use the earplugs they provided)
On arrival the floor was stained with someting sticky that I cleaned with some alcohol wipes.

Suboptimal service standards
Posted 6 Jul 2023 on HotelsI left for the airport at 6am but no one was attending the hotel counter. I placed the room key on the table as there was no drop off key box. The receipt of my stay was also not delivered to me which was promised to be given on the day of my departure. There was no morning call service.
