Love the location of this hotel, such an easy walk from Ximen station and conveniently located among many shopping and dining. Hotel is decently well maintained too.
The only down side was the air conditioning in the room. It was centrally controlled and there was no way to adjust the temperature. Not sure if the thermostat was correct, but it was constantly showing 19 - 20 degrees especially at night. The staff came by, tried to adjust in a 10 sec job before saying that if it doesn't work, the best solution is only to ask for more blankets.

Twin room is small but decent for 2 persons, not much space for 2 medium luggage. We went out shortly after we checked in and when we returned after 30 min, we could not open the room door. We asked a male staff who happened to be nearby for help. He also couldn't open the door and kept saying the door was locked from inside and kept asking if we were sure there was no one else inside the room (sounded eerie at that point actually! there were also some happenings at our other room that made us felt eerie when we discussed it the next morningl). We just had to keep insisting no one. He then said he send someone to check while we waited outside the room. Another male staff came shortly and after some back and fro to get some tools, he finally fixed it. Other than this, room was ok. Hotel staff are friendly.

Double room is extremely small, too small for 2 persons. Totally no space to move around. Room is dim. Bathroom is small. Our parents had no choice but to place the luggage in the bathroom at night. We had another twin room which was sligthly larger and brighter despite being cheaper when we booked it. We couldn't accept the small double room and paid extra to change the double room to a twin room for the next 2 nights.

Overall a good stay but WiFi is either very slow or not working. Have informed the staffs but no improvement in WiFi speed. Easy check in and check out.
