One could say "you get what you pay for" but this place is way to expensive to make such a statement. Two years ago I paid the same price per night to stay in a very nice place in Taichung with an absolutely stunning lobby, shockingly good sound insulation, a bathroom with a good and proper exhaust fan great water pressure, and even a functional portable air purifier to keep the indoor air quality excellent.
This place is about as far from that as you can get. The whole building reeks of cigarette smoke, everything is worn, the elevator is slow and rickety, there was water damage across the ceiling and along the window, the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it, and the longer I spent in the room, the more I could feel grime layering itself up on any part of my body that wasn't covered in clothing. The faucet also exploded water in every direction. I was sneezing all night and my eyes were quite red when I woke up in the morning, a telltale sign the AC unit hasn't been cleaned in decades. There is also absolutely no sound insulation at all. The small child that was a having a hissy fit in the hallway and the mom screeching at him in Taiwanese was so loud, I would have thought this collective emotional meltdown was happening in my room right in front of me.
Inflation is barely happening in Taiwan, yet somehow a hotel as crappy as this one can get away with charging as much as they charge. For less than half the price I paid, I might accept such bad conditions.

Dirty Room
Posted 6 Dec 2022 on HotelsBooked king bed room but was given combined two single bed. Felt cheated.Bathtub side way so moldy. Breakfast was takeaway from out source. Not worth it for Sgd 80 per night. We stay two nights.

pleasant stay
Posted 29 Apr 2019 on HotelsA hotel with certain age. But the staff are friendly and helpful. The carpark which opposites to the hotel is convenient to me. And most important, please do not have a late check out, they fined me NT$100 for just 30 mins....

Bad sound insulation.

Pros: The room is quite newly renovated.
Location: Location is alright, a short drive away from Feng Jia night market.
Plenty of car park lots. Good for people who drive.
The doors are very badly insulated. I could hear neighbours opening and closing their doors. And there were drunk guest on the corridor making a lot of noise at 1am in the morning.

Good location for my work and very reasonable rate. No more expectation for what you pay.

A good, comfortable and convenient business hotel
Posted 19 Jan 2017 on HotelsQuick check-in, very comfortable and spacious room, bathtub. I had a very quiet night. Free newspapers and magazines. Reasonably good buffet breakfast (but the "hot" dishes are not kept warm, and the coffee is not very good). Nice decor overall. Conveniently located near Wenxin Road 文心路, one of the major arteries of the city, with several bus lines and in one year or so, an MRT station about 5mn walk from hotel.
