"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that?...

"Location of the unit is good but we Ask for 3 people to stay but gave only 2 BABY/ TODDLER blankets and 2 towels as there is additional charge for the 3rd towel. The unit smells gross, musty or roach smell needs to be clean thoroughly."

"Unit was tidy, and well maintained. Any problems were solved quickly. Location is good but like most of the philippines traffic noise is high! Suggested improvements would be a real mattress on the bed instead of foam. Otherwise no problems here at all!"

"The property was probably 5 star 20 years ago, but showing age now. Overly “secure” in my opinion. Guards at gate, at door and inside. Felt more like an institution than a hotel. It’s a very nice hotel but felt a little stuffy for my taste."

"The facility was beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The views were spectacular. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there were so many options. There was even a string trio playing during breakfast. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely be somewhere we come back to over and over "

"I really enjoyed my stay there, the only negative was the wifi. It wasn't there fault though. They told me there was an incident out of their control that affected the wifi and was being handled by the service provider; however, the wifi in my room was very weak not sure if it was the issue but ill accept them at their word. Very close to Ayala. Very clean, staff answered calls for service very fast. Breakfast buffet was good and very tasty with great filipino foods. "

"We enjoyed the stay in Rangya Hotel. Staff is very helpful and accommodating to our 'Senior' needs. The location is great, very convenient, the room is clean and comfy. The price is budget friendly as well. I will certainly recommend this hotel if you need a comfy, clean, convenient and friendly to you and to your pocket"

"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that? Representative assured me it's safe. She even told me about the paid parking, which was ₱350 a day. That was perfect and convenient! I wasn't aware about that on my first trip and parking was pretty far. Location was good, with a few restaurants and a small mall within walking distance, but I suggest renting a car or taking a Grab if traveling with elderly. Mornings were the best with many people to join in your morning walk. Ambiance and cooler temperatures were awesome! You also feel a sense of safety throughout most of the property. In spite of the mold in the rooms and the fact that it felt dated, I will still give it another chance and hope my next stay here will be better. Location and the big, open park to walk in is what I enjoy they most. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive and enjoyable experience. "
