Location of the unit is good but we Ask for 3 people to stay but gave only 2 BABY/ TODDLER blankets and 2 towels as there is additional charge for the 3rd towel. The unit smells gross, musty or roach smell needs to be clean thoroughly.

Posted 3 Jan 2023 on HotelsOccasionally, we booked SMDC for our unplanned trip. However, we did not receive any communication from the property regarding the fees we need to pay. 1. 450php parking fee for their covered parking inside the building. The "typical" parking they are offeri is located way back (2km) away from the building. 2. They charge additional 1000 php for an infant!!!! We had to call hotels.com and the owner to ask for a reasonable fee. They gave us 200php discount which by the way not communicated THROUGH the website. 3. We booked it for 4 adults but everything includin the towels, bed pillows are only prepared for TWO!!! Dont expect for basic toiletries like a small soap.
Not sure how clean the room is, bedsheets and pillow cases was smell like it was sprayed a deodorizer or scent spray. Had to strip off the bed because our allergic rhinitis was acting up because of it.
The toilet curtain has MOLDS. It looked like it was never cleaned or replaced.

Raising her voice, doesnt know how ro explain things and hanging up the phone if shes done talking. Liar!!!!! This is a hoax !! A lot of hidden fees. Useless cheap amount of facility because the owner is a very cheap person!!!!!

At first this guest was so very rudeHe's the one who raises his voice of not having vax card, but I send already the things to bring as early as they booked the unit 1 week ahead. He didnt blamed the one who booked their unit of not sending this important reminders to them instead they blamed me for this.Beware of this guest because they will book 1guest only to get the lowest rate of the unit but the actual number of guest is 5 guest and for this they are the liar ones.We charge additional fee because the rate they book is only for 1 guest. Since the total guest staying the unit is 5.Smdc is also very strict of number of guest. They charge us penalty for violating NO OVERCROWDING POLICY if we accept more than 4 guest.It is mandatory to pay penalty if they are 5 guest to occupy the unit.I send them the houserules and it was included that if they want to check in early it has an additional fee, because they will consume electricy for early check in but the guest answer me philosophize and very rude.Actually we upgraded their unit to taal view which is higher rate for FREE because 5 guest will not fit on the original room they booked. We also reported it to Hotel. Com and Expedia to block this guest for their future booking for not to experience other host this kind of bookers.

This is based on my personal experience. I have no intention to discredit or make it a general comment.
First, I was pressured with the multiple calls from the "caretaker" where I was at -- starting from 2pm onwards. (Already told them Im gonna be late and will pay the late check in fee.) They still call, saying they are waiting for me.Secondly, the rooms are not that comfortable to stay with. Needs Improvement! Found ants too.
Linens and blankets are old. Washroom are not that clean too.
Overall, I am not satisfied with my stay.

I paid for 2 rooms but was not allowed to enter the property. Security stopped us and would not permit us entry. Management did nothing to help. They informed me that the cost was non-refundable even though I had to find another hotel.

Overall needs inprovement. Communication and clean
Posted 25 Jun 2022 on HotelsIf we knew that our room will be 20mins away from parking and pool area, we couldve booked somewhere else. The room is not thoroughly cleaned especially the bathroom, walls and shower curtains has molds. There was a cockroach also.
