There were no maps on showing us how to enter the property. The roads are all one way and due to the holiday the traffic was awful. It took several attempts to find which gate to enter. Then the check in was dreadful. Only one staff handling all of the check-ins and the line was long and took us over an hour to check-in. The view of Taal lake and Taal volcano crater from the room were excellent. It was nice we had a kitchen and didn't have to go out to eat. My family was happy that New Years eve wasn't too noisy.
We had a problem with cockroaches and in our three days there killed about five per day. The toilet wasn't seated properly and bathroom smelled of urine. The contact person Ms. Lovely did her best to help us with some things. We were shocked that the swimming fee doubled on holidays (instead of 150 pesos it became 300) The parking lot was a grass field (150 pesos per day). When we got our car we discovered ants had moved in and had to take our car to be cleaned and sprayed to kill the ants.
Due to the problems we definitely won't be returning to this place.

The perfect taal view, the bed, wifi and netflix. The caretaker is friendly and easy to talk to. But one thing concerns us, there are cockroaches

The property is very accessible and safe. Location has a nice view of Taal Lake.

Hell dressed up as heaven
Posted 26 Sep 2019 on HotelsAfter a two hour commute from Manila, we were stopped by the security team trying to enter the area. They do not tell you will building or apartment number you are staying. Tried calling them for 15 mins but they didn't pick up the phone. Luckily the security guards told us which building to go and made our way to the lobby.
Called for another 45 minutes before someone answered and dispatched someone to come get us. We had to be photographer and have our IDs taken from us (not just a copy) to enter the apartment.
The view in the pictures us not the view from the window. Also missing is the fact there is a very busy road between you and the view.
Sleeping was impossible. The road was super loud (and there was no double glazing so super loud in the room). Then there was an airgap on the door, and polished concrete floors. That meant anyone creating any noise outside created noises that were funneled into the room. Super loud all night.
Also had to kill 5 cockroaches.
We had booked two nights. Left after the first. When I asked for a refund the girl suddenly forgot how to speak English.
Dreadful waste of time and a horrible experience.

Everything is awesome and then the service is very good especially ms lovely reyta she will serve u the best as she can.. definitely we will go back and refer it to my relatives and friends.

Best Customer Service Yet !
Posted 2 Mar 2019 on HotelsFrom almost the moment we booked up the Customer Service person at the site was taking care of us. Lovelynes was very attentive making sure everything was perfect without being overbearing, checking on our arrival and preparing the required information so checking in was perfect.
The building and rooms are quite new and to a nice high standard. The rooms were cleaned daily as if we were in a hotel room which again explains the perfect score for overall service.
The view from the room was excellent - perfect view of the volcanic island and location was great for Sky Ranch, it being a walk away. Shops are very close so getting food etc was really convenient.
Based on this experience I would definitely recommend and stay again with Max Stays.
