The pool was OK. They had a lifeguard who was mostly paying attention and looked like he was competent. The staff looked competent, but they tried to charge me for things that were supposed to be free , according to their page here. I asked for a rollaway bed and a pillow, both were extra and would have raised the room rate 20%. The bathroom remodeling was shoddy, with broken tiles and old disconnected pipes exposed. The toilet flush lever was broken. The Wifi only worked in the lobby. The electric door lock died, and despite their assurances they would fix it immediately, it was still broken the next day. They charged me for morning coffee. The windows wouldn't close.
A decent manager could turn this into a nice place quickly by doing some retraining and policy changes, they have some good staff, but they just missed the mark.
