Great food and Beer. Very helpful staff, good place to stay if you are cruising out of Sydney The rooms are small and could do with an up date but had everything you need for a short stay. Bathroom could do with a make over , getting in and out of the shower was difficult, it is a shower over the bath, the bath had high sides and nothing to hold onto to steady yourself

The property and experience was fantastic! From the brews and views, to good eats and Sydney's top tourist destinations a few minutes away you can't go wrong.

This place is such a gem! Yes it's a little old so it's got it's quirks but it is great nonetheless. The staff was great and easy to deal with even from before check in up until departure. The area is hard to beat with it being walking distance to so much of Sydney! Plus the brewery right downstairs is amazing and we didn't hear anything at all from the bar when we were in our room. I highly recommend staying here if you are in town and want somewhere centrally located!

Historic property which we really like - 3 floors up to the room (through the pub) was interesting - and expected, but a haul! Parking was street parking 8-6 pm and expensive feeding the meter, (but free after 6pm to 8 am and it seemed safe, especially since we kept some
luggage in the car). They allowed a late check out (11 am) which was greatly appreciated. The room was functional.

Lovely room, only problem we had was we had to carry our suiycases up 3 flights of stairs (with a sore knee) to store our luggage before check in. Would have been nice to have a lift.

This is a nice historical property with refinished bathrooms and excellent bath products. The bed was firm and comfortable. It was well appointed and the house itself is true to its era. There is no elevator and so beware if you need to avoid stairs, because the first rooms are on the third floor. Helpful staff carried our bags up for flights without a complaint. The pub is active and happy and the food smells great. I was surprised that in our room we didn’t have any of the sound coming through from the pub nor smells We would highly recommend.

Very nice. What's shown on the web is what you get. Except I found my room to look better than shown.
Great location.
