We chose a great spot to stay - tram is around the corner: 3 stops and you are at the harbour, Circular Quay (walking distance to the Rocks then) and the Opera House. Great pub kitty corner (The Edinburgh Castle Hotel). Walking distance to QVB for those who like to shop. Was surprisingly quiet given doors don't reach the ground and so aren't muffling hallway sounds. Guests obviously honour quiet hours. The windows open which is a plus. Of course, street noise is 'vibrant' then; when windows are closed, you can't hear the street much at all. Would have liked more than 1 hand towel for the 2 of us for the week (Housekeeping after 3 nights; no change of linens or towels). Front desk very prompt in responding to questions/requests. Woolworth's at Town Hall around the corner has ready-made meals if you don't want to full-on cook.

Excellent location: a block from Town Hall station. Many great restaurants and shops close by. Australian Opal Cutters just a block away. Clean, comfortable space. Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony.

Great central property, easy access to main shopping areas, public transport including light rail and trains, and close to restaurants and groceries. The only downside is the parking is extremely tight and don't have the property validate your parking as they charge $45 a night and as it's a public carpark, the rate is only $15 per night. Staff was exceptional

Room was clean and comfortable bed. Nice to have a small table and casual chair to sit on. Very handy to have the washing machine and dry as well.

We will be staying at this property again when we visit Sydney the next time.
The hotel is in the best location, it's a two minute walk to Town Center and endless shopping. The other direction a two minute walk to Hyde Park.
Our room, with a living room, kitchen, one bedroom and a two person soaker tub was very comfortable.
The guest services staff at the front desk were outstanding, friendly, kind and helpful.
