Hotel Medusa was exactly what we like in a boutique hotel. Clean, quaint and very well located. The staff was over the top friendly and as a bonus the price was very reasonable.

Beautiful property but room was a bit creaky and the bed was just ok. Super friendly staff

Not what we were expecting - old and dated property with no lifts. Lots of steep stairs. Carpets in central areas have seen better days. The bathroom was old and dated, toiletries not restocked during our 4 night stay. The bed was quite hard & had a large external wooden frame which was a magnet for shins - ouch. No duvets on the bed - old school woolen blankets - not the most sanitary option. The kitchenette was behind doors and kind of pokey to access.The small tv was way up high on top of the kitchen so difficult to watch. When we arrived to check in we’re told the room wouldn’t be ready for 20 mins which was fine - we left our luggage and walked to get lunch. When we arrived back after nearly an hour it still wasn’t - we’re told twice just give me 30 seconds but were kept waiting in the freezing lobby area for close to an hour. The good thing was its locations to lots of dining options and a short walk to Kings Cross station. Would not stay here again though.

Dear Susan, We take feedback good AND critical with equal seriousness and are disappointed the experience did not live up to your expectation. A small hotel is not for everyone and while some very valid concerns were raised and have been brought to the owners attention, I would also add perhaps the smaller family oriented properties are not for you and that is ok. We are not for everyone and not part of chain nor are we robots so sometimes things take longer and that's just how it is.Bedding is washed refreshed and steamed to strict health and safety standards, but thank you for addressing housekeeping issues.We wish you well and loved hosting you all the same

Was quite self contained, very comfortable bed, and close to the hospital that we needed to be at. Was perfect for us.
