It isn't Holiday Inn anymore. It's a Crown Plaza. Made finding the place confusing. Apart from that the hotel was fine.

Contact the property pre arrival to get transfers from airport. Not response.
Decided to get rental car, drove around the hotel 3 times trying to find it. Rebranded to Crowne Plaza. No advise, didn't care and blamed marketing. Poor comm's

Construction work around entrance was only down-side and not a major issue.
Otherwise great stay.

This was a nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet despite being near the airport. The staff were very friendly! The breakfast buffet was awesome! They even had barista-made coffees. There was some construction/renovation going on with a lift, so some there was a little debris with that, but otherwise everything was quite tidy. The parking was a bit steep as we stayed 4 nights. I guess that’s the price you pay for convenience, though. It was super easy and quick returning our rental vehicle and getting to the airport.

The hotel is very close to the airport and a two minute walk to the Mascot subway station. The harbour area of Sydney is just a few subway stops away.
The room was very clean, quiet, modern and spacious. I would stay here again if in Sydney.

Very close to train station and good community around the area, lots of food place, especially Chinese food. Really good.
