Cold shower
Posted 20 Sep 2022 on HotelsFlat is on a code and the code we were given didn’t work. This was sorted with an email and phone call
The flat is basic but clean although there is a strange smell in the downstairs hallway.
There was no hot water on the Saturday which was poor and not sorted that day so had to have a cold shower.
The water was working on Sunday thankfully.

Decent value, but in a noisy part of town. Front door to the central apartment area was not locked upon arrival, and I had received the wrong code for the lock box that contained the actual apartment key - requiring a call to them to get the right number. They did answer the phone right away and forwarded the correct code. The parking was also off-site several minutes away, not sure that was clear in the description. Apartment had lots of space and some nice updates in kitchen and bath, but carpet in pretty poor stained condition in other areas, and smelled musty walking in.

Not the cleanest
Posted 14 Aug 2020 on HotelsThe general condition of the apartment isn’t great, the carpets are badly stained, the furniture is old and needs replacing and the kitchen wasn’t clean. The freezer had a half opened bottle of whiskey in it, the cupboard had half a loaf mouldy bread in it and the fridge was dirty. The main into the building wouldn’t unlock about 50% of the time and the public areas of the building are terrible and filthy. It wasn’t the most expensive apartment in Swindon but much better are available.

Great location and car parking space is only about 5 mins walk away. Property was spacious and clean. As it was a very hot day we had to open all of the windows straight away which didnt provide very much air, the kitchen was the coolest area. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone who is not able bodied or particularly unfit as there a lot of stairs to get up and no lift. Kitchen was well equipped, but the kettle was broken so had to boil a pan if water to make hot drinks. I did attempt to ring the maintenence number and sent emails but had no reply. I think a user manual for the induction hob and oven would have been helpful as we had to google how to use them and has to set the time up on the oven before it would work. Ensuite toilet flush is temperamental, I would advise using the other bathroom. If staying during the summer I would recommend bringing ear plugs as the street is very noisy due to bars next to the flat and lots of speeding super cars driving around the block. Overall a nice place to stay, If there was a lift option I would consider staying again, as the stairs were really challenging for me.
