Great location, great value for money and genuinely nice staff. The rooms were a bit dated with stained carpets and old window coverings.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The receptionist and the bar staff were particularly helpful and pleasant.
It was lovely to have a swim and sauna in the morning before checking out.

Staff very welcoming and food good. Room very clean but tired decor with a broken hot tap and badly corroded metal toilet brush. Hotel needs TLC

We had a one night stay on route to Cornwall so didn't utilise all of the facilities however the room was large and clean and the beds were comfortable. We also used the pool, which was great, and breakfast was plentiful.
The highlight was the hotel cat, Doris, who was very friendly.

The hotel was quite dated! The buffet breaks fast was average, and by the time we got there , all the food was gone! The glasses weren’t replenished so couldn’t drink the juice! Overall just very average

Quite basic. We weren’t actually in the hotel but in the outbuildings and I wouldn’t have felt that safe if I was by myself staying there. Bathroom needed an upgrade

Nice hotel and great staff, room could be better
Posted 11 Aug 2024 on HotelsNice hotel and the customer service from staff was wonderful. Room was okay and did the job. No kettle and a bit stuffy in the heat but we still had a good nights sleep. The main door to enter the room needs to have a handle on the other side so that you can actually get out of the room! We stayed in room 20 and found it difficult to get a good grip to open the door by the latch each time. Disabled parking could be better as well. Only 2 spaces and they seem to be exactly the same size as nornal parking spaces.
