An excellent property in almost every respect and it would have been a delight to stay longer. Be aware it is not really within walking distance of the best restaurants.

Hidden Gem on the Garden Route
Posted 6 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe stayed at Bloomestate on our way along the garden route. I booked this hotel because of the positive reviews on Hotels.com and Trip Advisor. Bloomestate really is a "hidden gem" and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience a luxurious and unique accommodation. Our hosts, Maarten and Carla were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The home made breakfast in the morning is awesome and sets you up for the day. I will certainly stay again when I am in the area.

Oasis along N2
Posted 17 Sep 2016 on HotelsWe stopped here for one night on our journey along the Garden Route and it as a gorgeous hotel with beautiful decor. It has a great outdoor pool and jacuzzi and beautiful gardens to relax in - including a hammock! Breakfast was amazing - not just delicious but presentation was a work of art. The owners are lovely, helpful with restaurant and visit tips and really take pride in what they do. The town in of itself is nothing special but Bloom Estate was definitely a little oasis of peace and beauty along the N2.

Comforting overnight stop.
Posted 2 Oct 2015One-night stop on a car tour of the Garden Route. Owners/operators were charming, breakfast was well-laid, too early in the season to try the pool. Room was modern and well-planned.
