The room was not clean. There were stray hairs in the bathroom and grimy tiles. The living area had dirty carpet with lots of debris in the corners. We told our children not to walk barefoot anywhere in the room. The room (#400) was missing the emergency exit instructions. Outside, we went to the pool to find that it was so cloudy that you could not see your feet. There was also a pool light on the concrete deck with an electrical wire going into the pool. We left, assuming that the pool was not in service despite the sign saying it was open. We returned with our friends after an employee ensured us the pool was fine. My 9-year old was too scared to go in the pool due to not being able to see the bottom of the pool. The front desk staff at check-in were friendly. However, the lady monitoring the breakfast area was coughing so hard that my wife did not want to eat. I will avoid Hampton Inn in the future.

Breakfast staff was wonderful! Pool was green and then closed with no explanation. Asked to use Sister Hotel pool and was told no.

It’s remote but really nice! Clean, spacious, quiet, with lovely staff and great breakfast!
