"Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean...

"It’s a really nice camping sight with a fun playground for kids. The apartment was spacious and clean with enough beds for all of us and a nice bathroom. If you have small kids, we recommend this space. We didn’t visit the surrounding places but we did use it as a home base for our trips into Sweden. "

"Wasnt expecting much when I arrived and 2 extra floors were being built but I was wrong. The room was very clean, spotless in fact. They pack alot into a small space, kitchen, shower and toilet, bed space all in one small room. Free parking. Impressed"

"This cabin was so cozy, comfortable, and inviting! CLEAN. Beautiful shower (access outside, in the basement, small water heater, so conserve), Nice kitchen stocked with tools. NICE LITTLE TOUCHES EVERYWHERE! Great for kids; my kids 4,7,8yrs loved staying here. TALL-step stairs from parking to the house.Be sure to get key box instructions ahead of time, especially if your phone is from out of country. "We’ve just enjoyed a few days at this beautiful hotel, what a find!! Moss is being heavily invested in as an area and as a result we enjoyed a stunning hotel, the spa was incredible, the food was delicious and the staff were really helpful, polite and accommodating to us and our young family. I cannot recommend enough for a few days on a Fijord near Oslo. We’ve stayed in lots of luxury hotels around the world and this one is up there with one of the best. Thank you for such a great time. "

"Located very close to the Oslo Ford this charming hotel has an Art Deco vibe, the dining hall as an opulent decor and while I only stayed for breakfast, what I ate was excellent. At first I thought the lift looked old and I had an initial distrust of its abilities, but that was before I realised I was staying in a themed hotel and while lifts probably weren’t around in the 1940’s (perhaps they were?) it fitted in with the general vibe perfectly. I could see that there were conference facilities which were in use the whole time of my stay. The only minor gripe, a usb charging point in the bedroom would have been handy, even if it was one accessible from the back of the tv. I know I could have bought an adapter, but I’m kind of used to a USB point being available. I would definitely return for another stay. I also found Drøbak as a place utterly charming."

Worst bathroom / Best breakfast

"10 day visit around Norway staying in different places. Worst bathroom on trip. Shower was not built in, with only a shower curtain, which did not prevent water flooding the bathroom. Best breakfast on trip. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety of hot and cold food. Good, central location and relaxed atmosphere"
