Great hotel in the middle of town. It is an easy walk to everything. Very convenient and a great breakfast!

Totally fine, I wouldn’t describe it as upscale.
Posted 15 Aug 2024 on HotelsWas apparently a Best Western prior to this (still listed as Best Western on apple maps). It felt like a Best Western kind of room. Laminate floors, there was actually no artwork in our room, dated bathroom, no air conditioning (which is maybe typical here?), not particularly nice but totally fine - felt like a mid-level hotel that had been painted and given a nice entrance. Black out blind was a pull down roller blind over a window, not typical hotel black out curtains - that kind of thing. Service was great - hats off to the front desk team, the restaurant team, super helpful and friendly. Food was very expensive for what it was. It felt a bit like we were paying Hotel Scandic prices for Best Western kind of holiday. Which is maybe fine? Awesome location - quiet, walkable to the shopping areas, historic areas, water, easy parking. Loved all that.
