"This was a decent back up after our original accommodation let us down. Early check in was an extra £10. Car park was full, even early, but council parking literally across the road was cheaper anyway (albeit less secure). Location is a bit of a walk into town, but we just got a cab anyway. Overall would stay again for the price. "

"Absolutely outstanding accomodation and they upgraded our room which had a balcony. They make your stay extra special with complimentary beverage supplies and cereals and milk plus fresh eggs and bread are available downstairs. I would stop here again and highly recommend this accomodation. Staff couldn't do enough and really friendly too. "

"Highly recommend this place to stay ,Second time we've stayed an as good as the first ,location to town,train stn & piece hall in walking distance . The owner responds to every question you may have straight away an there was no problem for late check out If youre staying in Halifax i would recommend you stay here "

"The service was good just couldn't understand why there isn't a shower door when having a shower in the master room apart from that it could be done with a fan or AC .apart from that the service was early good."

"Our second stay and we love that all of the rooms have a different character and decor. The location is very quiet and peaceful. We had a corner room with views down the valley as well as overlooking a brook and wooded area. Just one reminder - take your own hot drinks supplies."

"Better than expected, the room was well appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with 3 choices of pillows. Unfortunately the mini fridge didn't work in my room, but that wasn't a major issue. I ate dinner in the Grand Pacific restaurant, the food was good but it's quite a loud environment on a Saturday evening. The staff were also (literally) running around the place at times which didn't give me the impression that things are well organised, or that there are enough staff to handle...

"Only a 1 night business trip, so no time to make full use of the facilities. The staff however were excellent, especially Robin who was on reception when I arrived late in the evening to check in. My reservation had not been properly added to the system and so she was unable to check me in. We quickly established that I should have been booked in and although it took nearly 30 mins to resolve she ensured I was looked after, arranged a drink from the bar and ensured the issue was resolved. "Title says it all,we took my mum booked room 50 and had a,lovely time .festive tasteful decorations big wood fires.fab food well priced and good atmosphere.to be fair no fault of hotel noisy party of ladies in very loud and it did spoil our experience in dining room but that was down to the people being incinsiderate of other diners .alcohol makes some people loud .just uncomfortable hearing private conversaionsas they talked over each other.staff were very proffesional and didnt make a difference as we were all paying customers second night was more relaxing atmosphere we lingered in dining room with a drink infront of log fire as it snowed outside.brealfast was welcome as always .we bring friends as its a gaurantee if good food clean rooms and warm and cosy at an affordable price when £is,tight. Proprioters are savvy enough to know all areas will benifit from guests to area shops attractions etc securing work and growth for area .over price lose your clientele or get repeat business.we would love to try other areas and establishments but fear less than what we know stonetrough offers."

"City centre hotel & it’s in ideal location. Very clean & staff were friendly and accommodating. We did not eat in the restaurant but it looked busy whenever we looked. Would recommend this hotel particularly if you are staying in Leeds for a weekend "
