Tranquil

Posted 8 Oct 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Added extras like-fresh flowers, welcome letter with cheese platter and a bottle of wine, fire all set to go, candles, warm croissants .Above & beyond
Location: Only minutes from Montville shops and restaurants, malaney cheers, waterfalls, wineries, plenty to do.
Stunning views, peaceful, romantic and tranquility at its best. We had an amazing weekend away for my husbands 50th birthday. This cottage has it all and added extras for your comfort.

Lovely place to stay

Fantastic secluded b&b yet very handy to Montville and surrounds. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable with separate cottages from main residence.

Nice peaceful place to stay.

Posted 16 Jun 2016 on Lastminute
Pros: The whole place itself was lovely and we had everything we needed.
Cons: Water pressure!
Location: Shops just up the road and a good bushwalk.
Very nice little getaway. Very clean and tidy. Only problem was the water pressure - not very good at all when wanting to have a nice hot shower on a Winter's morning. Water constantly went low to a dribble. Other than that, great location and felt like we were the only one's there apart from the thieving kookaburra's. ha ha

Lovely view, cosy cottage

Posted 13 Jun 2016 on Wotif
Pros: Location, view, verandah, fireplace, comfortable bed.
Cons: Better equipped kitchen. 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 plates, 2 coffee cups etc is insufficient for a 2 night min stay. Causes continual washing up
Location: Great location close to everything. Main street near by, not far to Maleny, Maroochydoore or Mooloolaba if you want to venture further.
We stayed at the cottages for 2 nights. The breakfasts were left outside each day in an esky which made the hosts unobtrusive. You need to watch the pesky kookaburras while eating on the verandah as one swooped in and stole my pastry off the plate while eating it. Cosy room and warm fire which was nice on a cool night in winter. A bbq is provided on the verandah which is great because after a busy day out and about and coming back to the cottage tired, you don't always feel like going out for dinner and we aren't huge fans of takeaway. So for us it is great to relax at the end of the day with a simple bbq and some wine. Only disappointment was while the bbq was provided there was a lack of bbq tools, bowls, containers, cutlery etc. It made cooking very difficult and we felt like we were continuously washing up with only 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 plates, 2 teaspoons, 2 coffee cups etc. for 2 nights. I would suggest it would be very inexpensive to resolve the only minor frustration on an otherwise lovely visit.
