Really great budget hotel! No frills, but safe, clean, quiet, comfortable room with efficient AC. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic in terms of when you arrive and depart from Sukhothai via bus - it’s right next to the bus station! About 15 min ride to Historical Park / Old Sukhothai, so keep this in mind in terms of transport costs. Couple good cheap food stalls right nearby, same with snacks/drinks/sundries. Not much going on in the immediate area, so perfect if you are looking for peace & quiet. Only negative is the condition of the room was a bit tired. Broken handles on wardrobe, broken toilet seat. Also would have been nice to have an in-room safe and refrigerator. All-in-all, great place to stay on a budget if you plan to overnight in Sukhothai and only go into historic part of town once. They also rent motorbikes for very cheap :-)

I like coz I was able to contact them 24/7. And I apologize for I was disturbing you in the middle of the night call. I appreciate it as they answer the call and someone was there to accommodate me even though I arrived so late and early in the morning.
I stayed in the shared fan 8 bunkbed room. The space from each bed is not too close which was good, each bed spacer has its own fans and there are 2 plugged walls in each space for charging which was really good. They provided one tiny piece of soap, a blanket and a towel. In my experience, the towel smells "pee" after I used it in the shower. And was a bit dirty. Could be overused and not washed well. No shampoo and conditioner (for women) which was unusual to me as most of the guesthouses I stayed in were provided. There are a total of 4 restrooms/showers (2G/2B). The place was just a minute walkable from and to the bus station yet it's 15-20min away from tourist attractions. They also offered a rental motorbike which I rented for less than 5hrs for 150 baht. 200-250 for a day.
And I guess that's all. Hope it helps. Enjoy your travels❤️

This is the perfect hotel for seeing Si Satchanalai Historical Park on a day trip using bus lines that travel up the 101 that pass by Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat. Since the hotel is just to the west of the bus terminal, it is very convenient. It is also possible to stay here and take the "wooden bus" to the Old Sukothai Historical Park. Just be sure that the wooden bus drivers will agree ahead of time to make the trip to the bus station. Otherwise, they will dump you off in the New Town, 35 minute's walk away from the station. Kamphaeng Phet is two an a half hours away by the number 130 songtheaw truck. I would certainly stay there again. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect base to see Si Satchanalai Historical Park
Posted 25 Oct 2018 on HotelsRueang Sri Ri Guesthouse is located at 17.014699 N, 99.811986 E (17°00'52.9"N 99°48'43.2"E) at the bus station. It was a perfect base to catch the 06:40 Wintour bus to Si Satchanalai Historical Park for 45 Baht. The later 09:00 bus will not allow for enough time to see everything. The bus drops off on Highway 101 at km 135 + 550 m at 17.432578 N, 99.811911 E (17°25'57.3"N 99°48'42.9"E). We came back on the last bus which showed up at the 50 Baht bike rental shop half an hour early at 15:00 instead of 15:30. The owner put out a huge purple flag to tell the bus to stop for us.
Rooms with a double bed are about 257 Baht with fan and 457 Baht with air conditioning. I paid 200 Baht cash only on check in to upgrade to air conditioning as I did not read the room description when making the booking. Air conditioning rooms will be the last listed on Hotels. The section we stayed in was eighteen months old, but looks brand new. Very clean!
Foam mattress was reasonably soft. The Hello Bear sheet and pillowcases were cute. Two small bottles of water were provided at check in. Gave us map. Told us about festival at night market.
Not all "wooden trucks" from Old Sukhothai go to Bus Terminal. Most actually do not. They go to the market area downtown. Locals seem to pay 10 Baht. We paid 20 Baht.
Get up early if you are going to Kamphaeng Phet. Go to the Wintour window to book on a Bus 100. The local 130 truck only leaves when it gets enough people, and we waited two hours.

I personally loved this hotel! It’s location, staff, and amenities all added to my wonderful experience in Sukhothai! I will say it is a traditional Thai style hotel so if you’re looking for something very luxurious, look elsewhere. I had a private room with a fan. It featured a window with a view and a private bathroom. It was perfect for me and felt like home over my stay. I loved the location of the hotel... right next to the bus station which had easy access to tuk tuks and terminal one has a blue bus that will take you to Old City for only 30 Baht. Also you can bike or walk to the market center in new city quite easily on some quaint back roads of the city along the canal. The hotel offers free bicycles for 2-3 hours for commuting locally. They also rent out motorbikes too. So the city center is accessible but you’re a bit away from the bustle. Also, it’s very close to the Premsuk water park if you’re looking to cool off on a hot day like I did. The staff was very friendly, always greeting me and answering any questions I had! The hotel has free WiFi which I had trouble accessing in my room but no problems in the lobby area. They also offer delicious breakfast at a fair price! Making it easy to eat before going out for a busy day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone whose looking for a home while exploring local culture.

You get what you pay for
Posted 29 Apr 2018 on HotelsI stayed in the mixed dorm. It was the cheapest of my options at 150 baht. At the price I paid, I got a bed for the night and a fan was provided. Hot shower was outside. They have small lockers. Mattress was hard. Sheets and pillow covers have seen better days. Ants were marching on the wall. Manager was friendly and guesthouse was just a few steps away from the bus station. There was not much option around for food or even coffee.

Great Place in Sukhothai
Posted 26 Jul 2017 on Hotelsthe hotel is literally next to the bus station which is a great location. the rooms are in great condition and the staff are friendly and helpful. you can get a ride from the bus station to The Old City for 30 baht. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in sukhothai. right next to the hotel is a small store and two small restaurants.
